3 weeks agoFood and service is excellent. Very quick and attentive table service with polite servers. Food is fresh and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed the chili oil chicken, sesame noodles, soup dumplings, and my wife loved her beef noodle soup. The beep scallion pancake was good, but the sauce was a little too sweet. Space is a bit small and loud at times. No complaints in that area, but don’t expect a date or romantic vibe (and who would looking at it from the outside). We’ll definitely be back.

a month agoAbsolutely loved Hon’s Dumplings & Noodle House! The dumplings are so fresh and juicy, have amazing flavor. Everything came out fast and tasted amazing. Perfect spot for a cozy, satisfying meal! I’ll definitely be back.

2 months agoSeated quickly and drinks brought straight out. Ordered: Shrimp Shumai - my favorite. Filling is well ground but they also put large chunks of shrimp in each. Well balanced and great flavor. Scallion Pancake - it’s good. Salt and Pepper Chicken - all dark meat. Not as crunchy as I prefer mine. Husband liked it. Soup Dumplings - I found the wrapper much too thick for my liking. The filling and soup inside is incredible, but I found myself leaving the wrapping behind. It’s a good restaurant with quick service and very reasonable prices.

3 months agoGood place to get Chinese food if youre craving it. We got the braided beef noodles which just tasted like wonton soup with beef in it. The beef was really tender and good amount of noodles enough for at least 3 people if paired with other dishes. Cucumber salad has a good sour vinegar taste that's not too over powering and is a good palette cleanser or if you just need something to cut the greasyness. String/green beans came with stir fryer with chicken pieces and they had a good spice to them. Shrimp and chicken shu mai was ok lacked some flavor but good when dipped in soy sauce. Chicken fried rice was above average if you compare it to other Chinese restaurants. Highly recommend and would come again.

3 months agoI came with my friends and we order a few different types of dumplings and a few other things. Our absolute favorites were the shrimp shumai, the pan fried soup dumplings, and the chocolate dumplings. The shrimp shumai were some of the best I’ve ever had, there was a good amount of shrimp in there and they were a great size. One of my friends described the pan fried soup dumplings as being very comforting and the temperature being perfect. My other friend absolutely loved the chocolate dumplings, she said they have a perfectly chocolatey and had a great bite. Overall the food was amazing and very filling. The service was also phenomenal, we were seated immediately and our waitress was super attentive and friendly. We didn’t have to wait too long for the food to come out and everything came out at a perfect temperature.

3 months agoWe came for dinner and everything was delicious, especially the xiaolongbao and the pan fried version too!!! They were juicy and tasty. Def recommend! The clear broth noodle was a great palate cleanser and really ended the night satisfactory. Spicy wontons and the cucumbers were also yummy. I ordered to go the spicy wonton and the scallion oil noodles for later that night. It was too salty as both sat in the sauce too long so def recommend to eat them immediately if you were to go food.

5 months agoCame around 1:20p on a Saturday and had a bit of a wait, but once seated, food came fast, hot but not scalding hot where you had to wait before taking a bite. It got a bit busy so they forgot to give us water and half our utensils. Had to keep flagging them down, but the servers were pleasant overall. The pan fried pork bun was surprisingly very juicy, almost as if it was a soup dumpling, but nice and crunchy on the outside - I loved it. Everything was great, but the best dish was the clear beef noodle soup. So flavorful and umami. The beef wrap was pretty good, but if you don’t like cilantro, you should tell them in advance.

8 months agoAs a person who grew up in China, i really love the food and the service here! The dumplings and noodles are all hand-made, and were soooo delicious. The wonton soup was also nice and comfy. All the food I had here tasted very authentic! I was super surprised to find such delicious dumplings, soup dumplings and noodles in Carrollton. I also really love the service there! All the staff are super friendly. It is such a small cute restaurant with comfy vibes :)
