I have ordered twice from this restaurant, first was jollof rice via Uber eats and the texture was perfect but seasoning was excess. Second time was a afang soup … this time around I wanted dine in and instead of them telling me it’s unavailable, I kept hearing it’s been prepared…they made me wait for 1 hour 30 mins only to cancel. Worst service ever
Haut Pot Dallas left much to be desired. Despite advertising authentic Nigerian cuisine, the food fell short in both taste and quality. Dishes were disappointingly dry, lacking the flavorful essence one expects from traditional Nigerian fare. The owner's demeanor was equally unsatisfactory, displaying rudeness that marred the entire dining experience. Customer service was abysmal; waiting for an hour outside the establishment, despite a confirmed time, is simply unacceptable. It's disheartening when a business fails to deliver on its promises, leaving patrons feeling undervalued and dissatisfied. With so many dining options available, Haut Pot Dallas must prioritize improving both its culinary offerings and customer relations if it hopes to survive in the competitive restaurant scene. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others seeking an authentic and enjoyable dining experience. Please also note the food is cooked from a ghost kitchen in south Dallas. Obviously, stay away and do not support this small business.
I recently had a disappointing experience with this seller. Not only was my order delivered several hours late, but the seller was also handling her phone and cooking at the same time (she mentioned this over a call I had with her), which seemed unprofessional. When I finally went to pickup my order, there was no apology for the delay. This lack of customer service and consideration for timely delivery has left me very dissatisfied. I hope the seller can improve their service in the future.
