See All ReviewsOrdered house fried rice, and for years the rice was good. The rice normally had a yellowish color and today it was dark brown and tasted bland. This will be my last time buying anything from hay hing.
Huge portions. Very budget friendly. And decent food!! Each serving easily feeds 2-3 people.!!
From the outside, this Chinese takeout spot doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. Faded signs, worn-down walls, and an overall look that makes you question whether you should keep driving. To be honest, the inside didn’t do much better—dated décor, cluttered counter, and that “we’ve been here forever” vibe that can go either way. My wife took one look and wanted to turn around. But I noticed cars out front. And in my experience, cars usually mean good food. So I decided to give it a shot. I’m glad I did. Despite the rough appearance, the service was quick, friendly, and surprisingly organized. Our order was taken with a smile, and the staff handled a steady flow of customers like it was nothing. The food ended up being the biggest surprise. For the price point, it delivered exactly what you hope for—hot, flavorful, satisfying, and served in portions generous enough to guarantee leftovers.
