I am a local and last Friday....I stopped and got a full rack of ribs...$25...they were obviously reheated from a previous day.....Hard and burnt!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED....$25 WASTED!!!!
Heavy' s BBQ was closed but the creek was calling my name . Beautiful scenery it was so relaxing. Was a great day. Social distancing, staying safe and getting a lil sun. I wasn't thinking that when I parked there that I was trespassing but after a few people from Heavy's asked me a couple of questions about getting permission to be there I realized that I guess I wasn't supposed to be,but when I pleaded my case about how beautiful it was they were very understanding and let me stay and hang out ..Very nice day & people ✌️🤣😁💐
Pick your seats and enjoy the views of the river! We placed our orders promptly and the food was out in no time! We had the 1/2 ribs with the pulled chicken combo and the pulled pork combo. I asked to try all the sauces which were delicious but I highly recommend their Tennessee Vinegar sauce. The ribs were delicious and fall off the bone. The chicken and pulled pork we're moist, smoky, and ultimately heavenly. The sides were all fresh and made to order. We had mac and cheese, french fries, hush puppies, and okra. All were scrumptious. If we weren't stuffed we would've indulged in some dessert but we left happy and nourished.
