We ordered using their online app on a day (8/16) they were unexpectedly closed. The app took our order and charged us. We understand that things happen, but after several days - after a phone message and an online message were sent - they have not refunded our order or contacted us back. Instead our card was charged for an order that was not fulfilled. It takes two seconds to update your online ordering system to be off when you are not open - and even less time to respond and correct inaccurate charges.
Wonderful service and great food. We arrived 10 minutes before closing and the staff assured us we could still order takeout. I mentioned the meal was for my elderly father. The staff member offered to fry up fresh falafel just for him, even though it was so close to quitting time—it was very kind and we were so appreciative. And my dad reported back that the food was delicious! Great service with compassion on the side, thanks again Helios!
Just another gimmicky hipster joint in a downtown area of anywhere USA. Awkward experience with the patrons, staff, and layout itself. If you want overpriced gentrified Mediterranean food in the trendy and palatable chipotle bowl fashion, then eat your heart out. If you want to keep your dignity and wallet intact, go elsewhere.
