a month agoA late lunch after a VA appointment. Ordered a small chopped tray. When it quickly arrived it was overflowing. Hush puppys were excellent ,, the chopped Q very good, white slaw was problem this time. By the time I had eaten most of the Q and getting to bottom of the tray I encountered 1/2 " of slaw juice filling the bottom of the tray. THAT AS NOT GOOD. I think it must have been a one-off. Got a quart to go excellent next day on BBQ salad. I will be back

2 months agoFood was wonderful, came out hot, fast and delicious. My complaint is two employees .. one waitress takes our order which started out fine she took our drink order got our drinks in a timely manner tells us she will be back in just a moment to take our breakfast order and came back within the ten minutes everything was wonderful but then she never came back once she was done we had no refills had to flag down other waitress to get anything she was an older lady deep voice blonde hair When our food came out a bigger younger girl with black hair and red tattoo behind her ear brought our food out and was EXTREMELY rude rolled her eyes when we asked for silverware smacked her lips and made a face at my mother in law who asked for sugar. Our whole table of 7 was just speechless. Once we was done eating we got our check which we had to go find our actual waitress the blonde older lady and to go boxes and refill our own drinks since we never got any refills she stated they had a class in but there was serval girls working there but butts off and was so sweet it’s sad two people can ruin it they can do better or find another job. Maybe not one in the general public

3 months agoI went off of the website with prices made of list. Ordered and then when picking up it was twice as much. APPARENTLY HENDRIX D3S NOT MONITOR THEIR PRICES ONLINE. SO DONT BE FOOLED THE 2.50 IS ACTUALLY 6 BUCKS. THE 10.98. IS ACTUALLY 19.98. BEWARE. AINCE HENDRIX DOESNT WANNA TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR ADMIT THAT THIS IS CARELESS AND RUN THE RISK OF LOOSING CUSTOMERS. IT DOESNT MATTER.

6 months agoThey charged me 80 cents for ranch and then didn’t even put in my bag and no side of dip for my sandwich and now I’m late to work because it took over 15 to put together a bbq sandwich and home fries. I think they charged me $5 for a regular sized sweet tea. Waste of time and money. I will not be back. Smoke pit is better and worth spending $20 for 1 sandwich and fries.

6 months agoWe love it here! Service is fast and friendly! We usually go for breakfast. The portions are HUGE so come hungry. Always yummy. The Livermush is extra crispy, the grits are the best we have ever had, perfect delicious texture, not soupy like some and the omelets are amazing. Casual seat yourself and cool 50's atmosphere inside. We drive 30 minutes and it always worth it!!

a year agoUse to eat here a couple of times a week. But now living 230 Mike's away, it's hard to get here. The food is still great, but they have changed up to 3 sides with a bbq plate. Bbq slaw and then 2 more. It was way more than I could eat. If I get to nit picking the bbq without dip on, it was just not as good as it used to be. But with the dip it was very good. The slaw was top-notch, and I got double slaw instead of another side. French fries were good, and I got buns. I just prefer buns with my bbq. Go back, yes I will. Get bbq again. Yes, I will. Their hamburger use to be the best. Next time, maybe a hamburger

a year agoI was on the road craving some barbecue past about five places decided on this one based on reviews and the food was delicious. Only issue was the barbecue sandwich I ordered didn’t come with a plate. Just dropped it on the table which I thought was weird since I was sitting at a table with all my coworkers and they receive plates for their barbecue. But the service was amazing every waitress that walked by asked if we needed anything and again the food was great. I’ll come back and next time ask for a plate with my sandwich.
