See All ReviewsPhenomenal!! They don't accept cards but they have an ATM. I'm so sad we just discovered this gem, they are retiring and closing March 1st 2026. The food, service, and atmosphere was exactly what my family was looking for. The portion sizes are massive and everything was so delicious. We all had the combination plate and my husband tried the serloin. Their spetzel and German potato salad are easily the best I've found in the US, and the sausage tasted fresh! Our server was very kind and boxed up our leftovers for us. We hope to come back again before they close. Highly recommend
The service and food were top notch. Huge portions. My mom and I both had the prime rib. It was cooked perfectly. My dad had the porterhouse, while my partner opted for the liver and onions. Everything was delicious. The tables are placed rather close together, and once the restaurant fills it makes it difficult to get in and out of your seat for anything, and it also becomes very noisy. I would still highly recommend to others, and will be returning myself. We made a 2 and a half hour drive each way to give this place a try. Absolutely worth it!
Great meal. Haven’t been here in many years. Nothing has changed inside. Great local German restaurant. Went for the Prime rib and was not disappointed.
