Response to owners reponse: That's an absolute lie, your claim that a waitress addressed the issue with us in any way. ? The waitress offered absolutely no explanation whatsoever and the only words offered were "Im sorry" when we said we had to leave. If we had been told to expect a long delay, it would have been different and we could have pressed on with our route. Btw, the couple that came in also ordered burgers. No one here is trying to step in front of anyone, including a call in, but based on other responses from many customers, there is definitely a trend here. __________________ This is all about the nonexistent service. Never got to try the food because we gave up and left. Today during our road trip, we saw this diner on Google maps. We arrived at 11:50 am for lunch. Only a few other tables had customers. Took a seat and ordered two burgers and two soft drinks, nothing else, not even fries. We did get our drinks. We noticed a local couple walk in about 20 minutes later (they were clearly local because they knew other customers by first name). Within 15 minutes they were delivered their completed orders at their table. By now 35 minutes had elapsed for us. When I asked the server why people coming in later than us were served first, she only said 'Im sorry' and didn't even attempt an explanation. Bottom line: If you're local, this may work for you. If you're traveling through, just keep going.
The young waitress with long dishwater hair working today earned #1 worst customer service award in my long well travelled lifetime. She instantly became argumentative and condescending when after 30 minutes of waiting for our food I asked her if she could bring my husband's order as soon possible due to a critical situation. Here behavior was 100 % off the wall & out of context for the circumstance & situation. She demonstrates inability to handle her anger, gradiosity, and need to control others. I am a professional expert and she has warning signs of aggressive & possible violent behavior.
Food eventually was good for a hamburger and fries. Just plan on spending over an hour to get it. The waitresses are probably the worst you can find. To bad, I typically do not post bad reviews, but this is an exceptionally poor service experience.
