a month agoWe waited over an hour for three dishes that would have taken 10 minutes max from any other Chinese street food vendor. The oysters ended up being undercooked as they rushed to get it out.

6 months agoGreat mala xiang guo, all the vegetables were perfectly crisp and tasty. The general tso was also fried well, still crispy in the sauce.

9 months agoDelicious food! Wife loves the Malatang and I enjoyed the orange chicken and the sesame chicken. Very friendly and nice folks working there.

11 months agoI was the one who brought my own container. I hope it didn’t cause any inconvenience. Thank you so much for kindly packing the food in the glass container I brought. The malatang was absolutely delicious. Thanks to the extra spicy sauce you provided separately, I was able to enjoy it even more. Also, I think adding fen haozi (glass noodles) to the malatang could make it even more popular—many people really enjoy that texture. Wishing you continued success in your business.

11 months agoI visited them when they first opened and was highly impressed by the dishes they offered. Today, they launched their bento box, and I couldn’t wait to try it. I ordered the braised pork with eggs, roasted ribs, and stir-fried green peppers—every dish was absolutely stunning. If you’re into authentic, homemade Chinese cuisine, Hippo Express is a must-try.
