Solid, solid Thai restaurant! It's impressive and bit of a hole in the wall. But as you enter, you get a nice modern restaurant vibe, with that 90's throwback music, haha. The curry's are good, but I think they really excel in their pad thai, and their thai basil stir fry (go with the chicken). They give a lot and the protein is quite filling and the rice is solid. I think the yellow/red/curry are okay, but the panang curry (peanut based) is quite excellent- so go for that if you can have peanuts. The drunken noodle and noodle dishes look solid as well. I enjoyed the thai iced tea- it was really good because it wasn't overly sweet. Really can't go wrong and it's usually not as busy compared to the other Asian restaurants in the area. Enjoy!!
Great Thai and Lao food. Went for lunch. Flavors on point. Requested medium heat on dishes - Drunken noodles with beef and pineapple rice. The heat was on the higher end of medium. Also had deep fried chicken skins. Delicious and great with Laotian beer. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended.
Pretty delicious though I'd recommend sticking to the chefs specialties. The curry dishes from the curry section are just ok. Service is lovely and attentive. My main gripe are: don't use QR codes for menus if the QR code directs you to the website and you have to navigate to a menu. Fix that. Say nothing that every time you click a new page there's a pop up. Very annoying.
In a nutshell; Very cozy, yet fancy casual, great food and excellent service. Looking at it from the outside I wasnt really expecting how nice of a place it is inside. Not a lot of parking around, usual downtown sacramento Groans and pains, but looking pass that, youre greeted with a very nice ambience and vibe, server was awesome, the food is great, semi-fancy restaurant priced, but the deservingly so with how good the food is. Overall, an awesome establishment to try out!.
Overall, this place offers amazing food. Drunken noodles and pad thai are amazing. The beef in drunken noodles is so tender. Papaya salad is strange as they put some tasteless cabbage in it.
UNDERRATED!! As someone who’s from NYC this was actually one of the best thai food i’ve ever had in a while. Not only does everything taste great their portions are great. I’m still thinking about this place and wish there was in NYC. I recommend you check this spot out!!!
Food was great! Everything tasted delicious. A bit on the pricey side but overall worth it. I like the fact that they stay open later than other Thai restaurants. Parking was a bit of a challenge.
Lovely modern atmosphere with pretty decent food. It's on the spicier end of things, so adjust accordingly. I thought that the prices are incredibly good for the portion sizes. The curry was huge and also includes rice. Additionally, it was very clean and located in Midtown. I quite enjoyed it. I tried the fresh roll, and it was okay. I would try a diff appetizer. Otherwise, the noodles are really good, curry also solid, and papaya salad also good (I asked for mild but it felt more like a Thai-spicy kind of mild).
