This place is has a serene environment, with a traditional Chinese culture style. The prices are a little on the pricier side, the lunch specials is a good choice if you want to spend under $20.
Ordered Gen Tso Tofu for lunch and hot tea. Ended up being almost $25. I’ve never had this dish served with other than white rice, but came with fried rice. I was charged $16 for the meal +5 dollars for the rice and $1.75 for the tea. I would’ve left him a better tip, had I not been way overcharged for lunch. I left almost 4 dollars. I liked the old guy, and I wanted to leave a better tip. But for $25 for lunch granted it was a good size plate with the rice tasted like it was sitting around for a while. It wasn’t hot. It was just warm. I don’t like to send food back though. This was my first time in Chinatown. I just wanted that particular dish and I went by the reviews that I found. And they never give you enough broccoli. Place seemed pretty clean. The bathroom was clean. However, I don’t think I would return based on the charge for my lunch.
