See All ReviewsI’m working in the area and stopped by after walking past on my way back from the grocery store. I went in around 5 p.m. and saw a few regulars already enjoying dinner. Everyone was friendly, and the owner greeted me with a big smile and a menu. I’m vegetarian and was happy with the options — the food came out quickly, was fresh, and tasted great. I especially recommend the vegetable soup and hot bean curd. My three-course dinner with hot tea came to just $20 before tip, which is an incredible value for the quality and portions. The owner mentioned they’ve been in business for 31 years, and it’s easy to see why. If you’re in the area, you should definitely eat here.
I placed my order over the phone for pick up I was told it was $86 and would take 25 minutes well I got there and ended up waiting 45 minutes and all of a sudden the total changed to $105 the lady claims her husband never gave me the total over the phone but I placed the order on speaker phone so everyone in my family heard him say $86 was the total. She was angry and it was not worth the fight then I got home and noticed I had some of the wrong dishes, I instantly threw them out because they smelled funny. I only went here because my normal place was closed but lesson learned. Their tactic of over charging and then getting upset seems to be a pattern for them. I do not recommend this place unless you’re desperate.
Tables were quite dirty, and tables were left with dishes left after other customers left, glasses or ice appeared dirty. Food was decent, but I have much better Chinese. Tried really hard to feel comfortable there but I worry about sanitary practices there. Would not come back unless it was cleaner.
