a month agoThe BEST Banh Mi in Nashville Hands Down! This is a Nashville Treasure and one of the best deals in Nashville proper. The Vietnamese Sandwiches are amazing on the best bread, made fresh, with delicious fresh makins' every time. For 6 bucks a throw, this is an amazing meal that is affordable and sure to please. You should really try the Crispy Pork. You will not be disappointed.

2 months agoThey are more of a grocery/ pre cook food store than a restaurant. There are foods that worth your money and there’re foods that wasted both your time and money. DONT BUY: NOODLES - the ones listed on the wall menu. Like please. They TASTE BAD, bland and salty. They barely have any toppings, with most of the little to no variety topping is fried tofu. The tomato crab noodle I had doesn’t have crab ball and have like 1 slice of tomato. The side vegetables are tinyyyy. They give you a soda foam cup for togo (not like togo bowl or wide cup) literally just soda cup. I recommend you go to “VN Pho & Deli” for your noodles and “sit down food”. They have hugely better noodles with similar price. Bánh Chưng / sticky rice cake - It a hit or miss. Sometimes they got left out too long and start to taste spoiled. SHOULD BUY: Bánh mì - It will last for around 1-2 in normal fridge and longer in freezer. Chè /Sweet desserts / sweet soup in the outer fridge - They usually come with a little coconut custard container and peanut pouch. Dont forget to mix them in. Bánh cuốn / steam rice cake roll - Their topping are not the best but there aren’t anywhere sell this in the whole city, according to my knowledge. Sugar cane drink The other foods in the fridge and on top of the counter are ok I guess. They are precooked food, and they just microwave it up when you ask for it.

2 months agoI really value supporting small businesses, so I went in wanting to have a great experience. Unfortunately, a few things left me disappointed. I was charged $16.50 for a bowl of pho, even though the menu on the wall listed it as $15, which felt a bit misleading. The portion of meat was minimal, and the noodles were overcooked and too soft. I also had some concerns about cleanliness. The seating area didn’t seem well-maintained, and I noticed unrefrigerated eggs sitting out on the countertops for an unclear amount of time, which made me uneasy. I’m sure some of their other dishes may be better, but based on this experience, I personally wouldn’t return.

6 months agoAlways warms my heart to see a small family-owned business here in Nashville. We're already lacking for options in terms of great Asian restaurants and I'm glad I found this spot. I ordered for pickup with some colleagues and our beef phos and bun bo hue stock actually came out cold. WHICH, I actually appreciate as this clearly indicates that most folks come here to pick up food and warm the soup stock at home (you know, instead of slurping up all the microplastics you get from heating the plastic containers). Quality is good and the bun bo hue and pho were authentic. Was also great to see the various other homemade staples that were clearly popular with the local Vietnamese community. Really awesome to see and bravo to this place for thriving. Keep it up!

8 months agoBest hole in the wall restaurant around! Very chill atmosphere, food comes out quickly and accurate. The sandwiches my husband and I got were DELICIOUS. And for the price?? Insanely great. Very fresh ingredients and the perfect size. Will definitely be back!

8 months agoLove this restaurant. Best pho I’ve had in quite some time. Great for an office lunch too! They have a buy 5 banh mi, get one free. Try the chili crisp. They also have takeaway desserts and ingredients.

11 months agoSuch a hidden gem in Nashville for Vietnamese food. We went here for their sandwiches, Vietnamese ham and Vietnamese steam rice rolls with pork to go. They have about three tables to sit down and eat in. Most people going here on this particular day just buy food to go. Their sandwiches are great. They taste fresh since they bake them in house. I recommend to toast it when goring home to eat them to be more crispier. Overall, we would definitely go back here for the food again.

a year agoBest Vietnamese place I have been to in Nashville. We had the Banh Cuon, Bun Bo Hue, Pho, and Banh Mi (Combination + Tofu) - def. Recommend!!! We also had the Coconut Pandan Jello and def. Recommend as end of dessert. The Banh Cuon was fresh and delicious, they made it with a ground pork + wood ear filler, and served with Bean sprout, cilantro, fried onions/shallots, and Vietnamese fish sauce - so good - I grabbed from Thai basil from the noodle soup dishes to add in for additional flavoring. Bun Bo Hue - if you are into spicy - this is for you, flavored perfectly + super spicy (try before you spice it up more) (did not get a photo) Pho - really good Beef Pho - well balanced (did not get a photo) Banh Mi - Combination - my fav. Ended up doing the by 5 get one 1 free so we can eat more later :)
