See All ReviewsFormerly Gregordog (and half of the space), this place changes owners every 1-3 years. Once upon a time you could get popcorn, three fully loaded chili cheese dogs, and a pop for under $5. Sad to say, I think this place has gone downhill over the years. New owners now so I'll give it another shot, but the establishment used to be funky and held character, with "the wall of shame" which was a section of wall dedicated to Polaroids of past patrons who attempted the "eat 20 hot dogs and they're free, plus you'll get your name on the wall" challenge, and failed. I think it's lost an important charm that brought back regulars to a simple hot dog restaurant.
Weird how a place can get a mix of one and five stars, not sure if the experience depended on who was working that day or what. Or hot dogs were cold and fountain drink was warm, could here the microwave running in the back so assuming they just micd the hot dogs, unless it was for the buns
Very nice staff. The hotdogs are standard fair. I tried the Downtown Dog and the Crout Dog. The hotdogs themselves are good size but lack flavor. Same goes for the Buns. The toppings tasted good and were plentiful. I guess in the end I was just hoping for a bit more selection, a tastier hot dog, and cleaner brighter dining area.
