I’ve been to Holy Moly Burgers and The Bird twice, and I’ll start by saying the food is genuinely good. On this most recent visit, I decided to try their new cheesesteak, and the quality of the food itself wasn’t the issue. Unfortunately, the experience with the owner completely changed my perspective. We were given the wrong burger and charged for it. The staff members were apologetic and kind, but when we returned the incorrect burger, the owner was aggressive and questioned why the burger was made “if we didn’t order it,” instead of simply acknowledging the mistake. He then attempted to charge us again for the correct burger, even though the mix-up was on their end. It wasn’t about the food — it was about how the situation was handled. Customer service dropped to 0% for me in that moment. Good food can’t make up for feeling disrespected. Sadly, because of that experience, I won’t be returning. If you’re looking for tasty food and are willing to risk poor customer service and possible order confusion, this may be your spot. But for me, the attitude left a worse taste than any meal ever could.
Ordered a basket of chicken, they didn’t give sauce and when I knocked on the window to ask for some they said I didn’t get any cause I didn’t ask for it. Meal said it came with it so it had me wondering if I should’ve asked for fries too just to make sure they knew to include it. The chicken was tough and not well fried, and the fries has no salt. Maybe it’s what I got, but what I got wasn’t worth the money
The food is great here. I love the gizzards and burgers!! I am really picky about my burgers, but they are realy good here! I highly reccomend this place!
