I got the perks wings and curry chicken w/cabbage & plantain. Good portion size. Jerry wings were tasty abit. My order was missing the plantain 🤷🏽♀️. Curry chicken was as seasoned as I was hoping for.. I will try them again.
Today I picked up some brown stew chicken rice and peas and it also came with cabbage and plantain along with some sorrel,Everything was very delicious the food and the drink was very flavorful
My husband and I were in the area and decided to google a Jamaican Restaurant considering that my husband background is Jamaican and this restaurant came up 7 minutes away. To start Mrs. Ann was trying to be helpful I believe she mentioned it was her 2nd day working there. We ordered jerk chicken and curry goat with rice and peas. I was a little skeptical because we didn’t smell food being cooked still my husband said let’s try. While seating on the table I started to read a few reviews. To my surprise it had good and bad reviews, but the kicker was food being microwaved. I told my husband listen to see if you hear a microwaved go on, sure enough we did, I wanted to get up and leave my husband still said it’s ok. My jerk chicken was soooooo dried, rice, plantain and cabbage/carrot salad was ok. My husband said his curry goat was ok too. I’m saying all this because I’m an honest person I feel that if there were more honest people in this world the world would be better. I would tell anyone who read this, if you’re looking for Fresh Jamaican food don’t eat here. I asked the lady when was this jerk chicken was cook she responded this morning. That was untrue because of how dried it was. I really hope they start being considered of people sensitivity to food and their time and money. Her last words were see you soon, I said to my husband we will never come again.
