4 months agoI'm truly glad to know that Rachelle Garcia is now the new Manager of Howard"s. I took My girls out to eat and I have to say the food was great customer service was awesome! I will continue to bring my family glad they got rid of the old manager she was horrible!

a year agoNothing spectacular. Pre made frozen hamburger patty, not bad but expected more from a local burger shack that's been in business since 1964. Just kinda thought it would be fresh burgers. If you want fast food but not crap like McDonald's then go here. They have a more extensive menu at least.

2 years agoA mom and pops drive in that is worth the visit. I ordered the Catfish platter, Shrimp platter, an Avocado Ch.Burger, 2 Dble. Bacon Ch.Burgers and Onion rings. My pics show the onion rings in the platters but they actually came with fries. I secretly traded the fries out and gave them to my boys who had the DBCBurgers. Everything came out hot and fresh, the boys burgers and fries were thoroughly enjoyed. My wifey loved her Avo. Ch. Burger, "it was so fresh with lots of flavor". Both platters were quite filling, hot, fresh and crispy. The highlight of my meal was the onions rings. I would compare them to some of the best I've had, and I really am an onion rings snob. The fish though was over battered, I mean seriously thick. And the other complaint is that there were only 4 Shrimp in the other platter. Honestly, had I not had the fish, and then skimped on the Shrimp this would have been a 4 star meal. Listen. I recommend the stop. I will stop again myself if I should pass through the area again. Good eats everyone.

3 years agoThe food is tasty, the staff is friendly, and it’s nice to find something that’s not overpriced and super expensive in a time where getting a good deal is hard to come by. We fed 4 of us for under $15. They have an excellent deal on burgers on tuesdays.

3 years agoWe stopped here on our way into Fort Stockton and were pleasantly pleased with the food. It was delicious and they had some of the best Onion Rings I have ever tried. I highly recommend them.

4 years agoDo not exit the freeway for this place. Incompetent and triggering. Top 3 worst food customer service experiences in my life. Although the burger was good, the girl behind the counter was argumentative and very abrasive. After paying I notified her the soft drinks (3) didn't taste correct. 2 were flat 1 had no carbonation. She said I was wrong. And would only change out the flat drink? The conversation spiraled from there and her manager said nothing was wrong with the sodas? I give up, give me a refund on the sodas and get me the hell out of here. I will pull the $10tip I left on the card it was that bad.

6 years agoThe food tasted pretty good (minus our burnt buns) but the place wasn’t good. It took a while for a cashier to come to us, and she seemed annoyed to take our order. The dining area wasn’t well kept and there were flies. It took about 25 minutes to get our food, despite us being the only people in the restaurant and ordering simply burgers. There was no apology for the wait. The light in the men’s bathroom was flickering rapidly, which may cause issues for some people.

7 years agoMy husband says the burger was excellent with nice color but the fries were soggy garbage you get out of a bag. No color, no crisp. Honestly I'd have to agree. Burger was very good and our fries could have been cooked longer. I thought their menu was very odd. a bunch of papers stuck up on the wall. Like can you rewrite that please? Anyways 4 stars.
