See All ReviewsIt was my first time at Xiang Shui Shanzhuang, and as someone who doesn’t eat spicy food, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but I loved it! The staff was very helpful and recommended several non-spicy options that were incredibly tasty. The stone pot fish, Mao’s braised pork, and salt & pepper shrimp were all delicious. The restaurant feels authentic, the portions are generous, and the service is great. Perfect spot for anyone wanting to try Hunan cuisine, even if you can’t handle spice!
The renovated interior design and furniture are supreme. The waiters are stellar with great service and attention. The food was good. The chef was spectacular especially the king crab was amazing. The only thing that ruined the whole experience was when I was paying the $456 bill, the cashier girl was so rude -rolling her eyes and ignoring my question about payment status.
The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and have just the right level of spice. Service is fast, portions are generous, and the menu has many standout dishes. Definitely worth trying if you love bold, comforting Hunan cuisine.”
