I gave only 4⭐s because usually the food is phenomenal HOWEVER this time it was far from it. The rice bowl I ordered which was always good was DISGUSTING the chicken was dried and boiled and seasoning didn't exist and lack of cheese and the extras I paid for. The service was wonderful though AS ALWAYS...also, there was only one person working at that moment so they could be why. Who knows.
Food that I purchased was ok. They made it fresh! They are polite and they are a black business so support. They took forever for my food. They also charge 1.50 extra to use credit or debit so bring cash! They do have daily specials and food is good. If you have cash and don't mind a little wait they are worth the visit.
Seen this restaurant on Doordash and decided to give them a try. So glad I did! Please give these people your business, I promise you won't be disappointed. I ordered a side dish of macaroni, french fries, ten wing dings, and two slices of red velvet cake. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. Can't wait to order from them again in the future. Always happy to support black owned business.
