Second time coming here. I enjoy the Korean food here but I especially love the service from the owner. He cares about your dining experience and diligently serves you tea and the dishes you order. In terms of the food, I really like the banchans. There's a good variety, some of them are more unique than the ones you get served at other Korean restaurants, and they're super yummy.
I would show you the food but was too good and hungry to wait. Did take a bit of time for the food to come out, but was definitely worth it.
My fiancé and I loved it here! Very nice and attentive staff! Food is delicious and filling as well. This is honestly the best korean bbq I been to just based off of the fact that all the sides, meats, and staff being great! Its a bit pricy, but definitely worth it!
Did the $99 mixed beef Korean bbq and wow, we thought maybe it was a little expensive but you really do get a lot of food for you money!! Tons of sides dishes as well as meat. We have so much food leftover too and the flavors were really good. Service was friendly and resturant was very clean. We will definitely be back.
We’ve been coming to this place for a little over a year now coming in once a month to meet up with friends and have never had a bad experience. The food and service is fantastic. Portions are generous and we always leave with full happy bellies.
The portion size was very generous, which we appreciated. However, after grilling the meat, it had a noticeable gas-like flavor making it a bit difficult to enjoy. It’s possible that the strong scent was actually from the garlic, which was used quite liberally. The quality of the meat itself was also somewhat underwhelming. On the way home, our car was filled with the smell of garlic—so for those who love garlic, this might be a great choice. The amount was more than enough for three adults. On a positive note, the Korean pancake (pajeon) was simply delicious.
With new Korean places popping up in Vernon Hills, this place is still a family favorite. The food is home-cooked and super authentic — not to mention several dollars cheaper than alternative K-restaurants. The mom-and-pop vibes are real, and we’re always greeted with big smiles. Will be back :)
I loved it here I went here with my family and the owners were very friendly, the food was very good very fresh and delicious, I just with it was a little spicier because most of the spicy food were sweet to me. Service was a 10/10 they were so nice even helped my cousin with her napkin. Loved it!
