Top Reviews
See All ReviewsWe had a pretty bad and upsetting experience here. The food wasn't even worth it. My co-worker had like 2 oxtails for her plate for $25. They load the plates up with rice. The rice is OK. The plantains weren't good. The Mac n cheese was ok. They didn't have any red bean rice (told me it would take an hour). The cabbage was in a tiny cup, smelled like vinegar and onions. My order sat in the back, while people who came in after me received their order. Had to go and ask like hey is my order ready, and it was, just sitting there. Didn't even know if it was mines or not. The guy at the register seems overwhelmed. I had to ring the bell a lot upon entering the restaurant just to place my order and ring the bell to GET my order, which was just sitting there. Me and my co-worker spent over $50 here. I would have enjoyed Zaxbys better. The only GOOD thing is that the stewed chicken itself was good (not the rice, cabbage, or plantains....just the chicken) that's why I gave it 2 stars. The chicken itself was actually good. Someone told me about this place, so me and my co-worker tried it. NEVER going back. She was so disappointed and so was I overall. Believe the low reviews. I read them and they seem correct after my experience.
I’m a trucker and I ordered food from this restaurant through DoorDash. I can’t tell how much i absolutely love the service. I lack of words. All I can say is, food was delicious, portion size was perfect, and all the ingredients were fresh. I strongly recommend this place and I definitely will eat there again when I’m in ATL
THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE! I live 30 minutes away and have called this restaurant over the course of 3 different days, during different times of the day. They don’t answer the phone, and on the 3rd day, they forwarded my calls. I just wanted to call first and place an order, before I drove over 30 minutes away just to find out they’re either closed, or don’t have the dish I wanted. I’m over this place now, I’ll pass on even trying it out.
