See All ReviewsIt was an unbelievable night The honey and I went on our longtime awaited date. I had just got back from my trip from visiting ny father who just got bypass surgery. We went in this the mexican restaurant had an odor. We Walked over.\nWhen we walked in they just ask us, is it for here?We sat down. The waitress brought us to meyes I ordered for the honey rib soup (hot flavored wings and a coke. I ordered the pork vermicelli an order of fried egg roll. and a mango mango smoothie ( hold the bolba) * mind you then she complimented my nails * The waitress decided to bring me an extra spicy soup :/ ( why would I order 3 entrees) When I tried to correct her , "I didn't order that" She yelled, making everybody in the room, looked at us. I said, okay, fine, I'll take it to go" I wanted to eat my vermicelli noodles. My original order. She yelled " no eat the soup first because at home it will not good ! Then lo and behold , my mango smoothie has bulba in it. I said excuse me to a man. Can you tell her I asked for no boba? Some other lady came from the back, looked at me with this horrendous face and said something in her language to the other 2 While she ripped open the cup to remake it she was talking to the other 2. Mad mad. In order\nThat was supposed to be fifty two dollars came out to seventy eight dollars and sixty eight cents. We paid our bill.I asked for a To-Go box Our date night was ruined Because of the poor service\n Getting our order wrong, giving us what they wanted to give us Above all, the yelling, the embarrassment of everyone looking at us as if we did something wrong. The taunting as if we were gonna run out and skip the bill. The man sat at the corner of a booth just staring at us. I have gone with 2 other family members and the bill was fifty four dollars. Then,Not once did she come and check on us if we needed something. :/
We tried this place for some Crawfish and other items. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated. The server got our drink orders while we decided what to order. We ordered Crawfish with Corn, Potato and Sausage. We also ordered a Grilled Chicken Spring Rolls. They came out quickly and were hot and juicy. The Spring Rolls were fantastic and very delicious. The Crawfish was cooked to perfection and so tasty. The Corn, Potato and Sausage was so delicious. They boiled the Corn, Potato and Sausage with the Crawfish and had the same great spice and flavor. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. We will be returning again and again.
Crawfish with a Twist: Rowlett Style I Love Pho & Crawfish Quick stop. Local spot. Rowlett crawfish? Gave it a shot. Not your full-blown seafood scene, But they served up tails lookin’ real clean. Spice? There. Flavor? Fair. But this Louisiana soul needed that care. Crawfish cooked in the seasoning, not just wearin’ it. I’m talkin’ that soak-it-up, can’t-stop-tearin’-it. Score? 6.5 outta 10—still room to win. Spring rolls? Hit. Boba? Legit. So if you like your spaces tight, And want a quick local bite, Slide through, take a seat, And taste the street-level Rowlett heat. Honest eats. Real talk. Big Mike approved.
