The food was okay, nothing to scream about. But the owner came up to our table after we had gotten our checks and were waiting for the server to process the payments. He said, "You need to leave, because I've got people waiting." Excuse me, what? How rude is that? Likely not returning.
Have been coming here for 20 years. Always good food, service, & atmosphere. More fun at the hibatchi table of course but we had a bigger group this time.
We have lived here for 7 years and never heard of Ichiban. The decor is nice and the restaurant is clean. They seated us at a table and didnt come back for 6 minutes to get our drinks order. The chef did a nice job fixing the food. It was good. It is hibachi so it is expensive. Someone who works there or owns it had her two young boys there and they were a bit disruptive. She kept trying to quiet them but they are young boys. I felt sorry for the couple that was seated next to them. It was our first experience so we do plan to give it a second try.
