merging onto traffic at high speed while being on the phone is insane. Almost caused a couple accidents by stopping way too close to other cars.
Bad for truckers, taking long time to unload.
Shady place
Sat on street waited my turn . Backed under building started getting unloaded. They got me about half done once they received the 400.00 lumper fee and the 400 mile from Kentucky only paid 800. So then they spoke in Spanish to driver who arrived 30 minutes after me . He pulled forward blocking street and me in the dock, which doesn’t really matter because they unloaded his full trailer from the street with a pallet jack and fork lift. Not very professional. Also lumper fees were not mentioned before transport and after asking for half the pay of load they didn’t have a com check that I never knew I needed. Lucky I’m always prepared for worst. Kind of just you typical Chicago night mare. Of course cars down both sides of street as your set up and into a tight hole under building. If I could attach pics I would show them doing this shady maneuver. Not kind of guy who likes people or ever do myself call it a race thing but it really felt like it was. Two Hispanic guys both got unloaded from street before me and I’ve been here almost 3 hours!
Horrible customer service
Nice people, street very narrow to back in with semi truck you have to be very careful
TRUCK DRIVERS: Imperio Azteca has docks on the west side of the building on Springfield rd. Take Pulaski ace for i-55. Turn left on 44th street and the right on S Springfield Ave. you will see the large "IMPERIO AZTECA" sign over their garage door. You will be backing in to the single door. With the Target docks almost directly across it shouldn't be too hard. Open 5am. 44th street has 2 hours free street parking.
