See All ReviewsMy friend and I had lunch today. We both had the fish and chips. I have to admit I thought the price was a little high but after we got the food I was wrong a big piece of fish and a lot of fries my friend had onion rigs and even she had a lot. This food is so worth the price and the service was very good the young lady that served us was very polite. We will definitely be going back.
We stopped here for dinner. Everyone else was closed by 8, they were open til 10pm on a Tuesday. Menu is simple, they had their 12 items and fixings, along with a special menu for Taco Tuesday. We opted for the 45 day aged ribeye. Add the buttery garlic glaze sauce they put on top. Delicious! Meat was cooked exactly how we wanted it, the meat was tender, local even explained same farmer for over 30 years. Baked potatoe was great, chili was great. Even the vegetable medley i got of broccoli, mushroom and mix was grilled to perfection, it didnt taste like that storebought bag you get with the typical blend. The time was a little lengthy. About 40 min wait from order to table, but with the tender taste and quality food it was well worth the wait. I think only 1 person cooking but hey, its a one horse town with history. I ate here many years ago when I was a kid, had a burger but many years later first time for dinner. Its a saloon, so mayyyyybe not the best place to bring kids if your sensitive to that kind of stuff, but it doesnt bother me none, they have a high chair.
First time there for me, pull up to a old bar, has one dollar bills on the wall or deer heads. I heard the breakfast is amazing, but we had a gift card, so we came from dinner. Chanel the bar tender is awesome, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She was very busy but she kept the drinks coming. Dinner was lamb lollipops, New York steak and Ribeye Steak. OMG, all were cooked perfectly, seasoned with loved. The vegetables had flavor and my onion rings had a light batter on them and crunchy. Tasted the balsamic salad dressing and that was delicious. We kept passing forks around because you had to try this no try this! One of the best meals we had in a very long time. We asked that the Chef come out, Christina approached us, we got to tell her thank you to her face. She said she loves to cook, and we told her you can tell, you can taste the love. Go! Parking is tiny but there is only a few tables so get there early. Honestly, felt we were at a 4 start restaurant located in a barn. Lol. But it works! Staff are sweet and good is incredible.
