6 months agoI recently purchased a beautiful pair of canaries for my parents, and the experience was really good. The owner was incredibly kind and patient while helping me determine the gender of the birds — very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does. The store has an amazing variety of birds, all of which are clearly well cared for and healthy. You can tell they really care about their animals. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future bird stuff. Great customer service.

7 months agoVisited this place for the first time after driving by it for years. This is now my new go-to place. The staff was attentive to my need and made suggestions. Kept things simple. Store was need and we'll stocked. Left with a few things including mealworms for my kids lizard. The worms were great, healthy, and most importantly.. not black like some franchises we all know. Needless to say, Im a new loyal customer.

3 years agoThe only place to go for your pet needs. Mark and his team are the best. My pup’s grooming is always perfect and I know he’s well taken care of as Mark treats all the pets as they were his own. Someone is always cleaning, feeding the animals and willing to assist when needed. Nice selection of fish, reptiles, birds, rabbits and other animals. Look no further.. this is the best pet shop around.

3 years agoI’ve rescue two Yorkies and took them today to get groomed, they did a magnificent job. I also had a few questions about recommendations on food and supply's for my fur baby’s and they guided me. Had and amazing experience! Lola and Lexi where extremely happy.

7 years agoWell for starters, I wasn't going to come here with my family to buy the rabbit. Things happened for a reason I guess & we ended up buying a lionhead mix to company our 1yr old rabbit Rosita. My two only concerns with this pet shop is that they need more staff members who has the knowledge to identify the sex of animals (including rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, etc.) Also, they need to have numerous charts that shows how the animal private parts look instead of having US CUSTOMERS WASTE OUR TIME playing a guessing game on which gender is this, looking on wikihow to identify rabbit private parts or making themselves look clueless and insecure of what they doing in their job. Second reason is how they put newspapers as a source of bedding for the rabbits, guinea pig, ferret and cats. That is NOT good for their paws and living conditions. Other than that, me, my family and Rosita love our new edition to the family.

9 years agoFilthy conditions with mistreated animals. The animal room towards the back smells like urine with dust and grime everywhere. Some mice were pregnant but still living in overcrowded, disgusting tanks with mixed sexes of all ages. One of the rats was clearly pregnant but when I asked the staff they hadn't a clue, nor did they care. I got a quick "no" when I asked to handle her. The rats were also being fed a bird seed mix which is too small for them to eat and guarantees poor nutrition. The bird cages were stacked up the wall. There were puppies and rabbits in dog crates on the floor among the dust, though the dogs got a lot of attention from other shoppers. I would not recommend giving this pet store any money. Please do not shop here or even 'rescue' an animal by buying it because that will just boost their sales.
