See All ReviewsMy husband and I saw this new spot opened up and had been very curious to try it. We were not disappointed! We ordered the meatball, mozzarella sticks, and a small pie to share (topped with pepperoni and mushrooms) Everything came out piping hot and super fresh. While the food was delicious we both remarked we would come back for the vibes alone. It’s clear this place is run by love. There are family pics covering the walls and the staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly happy to be sharing their “Italian family pizza” with their customers. We want to go back and try their lasagna (we were told it takes 2 days to make) and their cannolis. I hope they continue to thrive.
Stopped in for lunch and had their meatball sub. Super family oriented as a true mom and pop kind of place. Bread and meatballs were made in house. This goes down as the best meatball sub I’ve had. So good, that I returned the next day and had a hard time between trying their cutlet or going with what I knew was great, the meatball sandwich. Their staff allowed me to do a half and half, which was awesome and did not disappoint.
This is truly a family restaurant. In every sense of the word. For one is great for families. Kids love pizza and there are other items for kids to like including the amazing zeppoles. The staff is super friendly towards kids. There was a birthday party at the adjoining table and the server was so sweet to all the kids. But it's also a family restaurant in that a family runs it. And even if an employee is not part of the family, they're like the family and the customer has become like the family. It just feels very familiar. Well especially for me cuz I grew up in an Italian American family. The food is excellent. I was dining with someone who can't have dairy which is such a terrible misfortune. So we got a pizza with no cheese on it. Not my favourite choice, but we added mushrooms and meatballs. The meatballs were amazing. They boast that they have homemade meatballs in. They were great. We also got the house salad which was massive and delicious. And since I had no cheese on the pizza I asked for parmesan and sprinkled it heavily on top Seating is limited and it's in a funky part of town. It's close to museums and the big library so it stands out as one of the few places to eat there. There is a small parking lot as well
