2 months agoLove this place. Friend found it when he came over to my side of town. Been back twice about to go for our third. Owner is extremely friendly and courteous. Service is fast and attentive. The menu has food I haven’t seen elsewhere (perhaps I’m a noob) but all varies from fun to try - delicious and can’t wait to get again. I’ve really enjoyed both times I’ve come here for drinks and small bites.

3 months agoStart to like this place. Tasty, but faulty time to time. But the owner listens and like to improve. When I suggested physical menu, she made it when I visit later. When we complained too hot onion, she excluded it from the bill. For more to come, the amount of food must be increased. It is too small. I know it is Izakaya which serves small dishes with relatively high price, but they need this to be exceptional and bring more people.

6 months agoThis is a small business spot that focuses on making sure their customers are doing well, chancing the game of how customer service should be. I recommend this to anyone that wishes to leave with a smile on their face and names remembered for next time!

7 months agoThe atmosphere, food, and service all give it a perfect 10 out of 10. Friendliness is a given. It's the best!! I highly recommend it.

8 months agoNew location, chill vibes. Good place to have some bites and have a drink. Sami is so nice and sweet. The owner is super friendly as well. Service was incredible! Their highballs are very unique as they make it their own special way.

9 months agoAmazing authentic and creative Izakaya food! Awesome lively ambiance! Parking available in a midsized lot. We had the asparagus with pork belly and Japanese sausage. The cream cheese with yuzu and okonomiyaki. The ceviche tostadas and yuzu salmon. All of it was delicious and the tostadas were awesome and creative. Some places claim to be Izakayas but they really aren’t. Izakaya Shu knows what it’s doing from basics like the sauces they use. Highly recommend this restaurant!
