We wanted to try the savadoran food and this was random to us. The staff was patient as we struggled with our lack of their language but brought us exactly what we asked for. Food was AMAZING!!! It is an older place with tiny bathroom and tight parking- but just what we needed! Highly recommend and will go back when back in town!!
Authentic Salvadoran food. Loved this place
If you don't order the RICE PUPUSAS... What are you doing with your life? El mero mero means "the one and only", and that's how I describe Izalco. This restaurant is a rich taste of El Salvador's best. For any pupusa lovers in the area, Izalco is a must. I don't want to neglect the other fantastic dishes served here, another notable favorite of mine is the quesadilla, which is not to be confused with what an America considers a quesadilla to be. Here the quesadilla is a traditional delicious cornbread. One final note is the disclaimer that currently, the RICE PUPUSAS are only available on weekends.
