4 weeks agoMy family and I love Jay Bird’s Diner! I love the decor and the fresh look the wonderful staff and the quick service. If you’re looking for a great place to eat at in the Rock Hill,SC area stop in you won’t be disappointed.

3 months agoEvery time I’m in here it’s always clean. The staff is friendly and the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially in this economy. They have weekly deals in my favorite is the five dollar cheesesteak on Wednesdays. Their ice cream Is reasonably priced year-round. Great spot to visit for a quick bite.

5 months agoFor a cool local dive diner, this was a great stop. I had breakfast. I thought it all needed salt but better to have not enough than too much. Hashbrowns were different (smaller chunks rather than shreds) but I quite liked them. I asked for crispy and they weren't very crispy but they were good. Bacon was decent. Eggs were good. Toast was toasty. Service was great. Our drinks never went empty.

7 months agoMy first visit. Meat lover's omelet had lots of cheese. More than I'd figure without asking for and paying extra for it. Service was great. Will be back.

a year agoFirst time in here yesterday. I’ve had a lot of good burgers traveling this country. This burger here was a top 3 ever. It was a perfect double fresh Patties, juicy, delicious. Bun and topping ratio on point. Fries were served ready and hot. I’ll be back here. What a gem I found. My server was very sweet as well. She had glasses. Didn’t catch her name.

Edited 8 months agoLocal owned. Great customer service. Heard good things about them and had to try it myself, I was not disappointed! Updating my review. I’ve become a regular. I normally stop by at least once a week for breakfast or lunch. Have never had a bad meal. The wait staff are always in a good mood and meet everyone with a smile and good a word. I wish I could get service like this everywhere.

Edited 4 years agoOut of the 18 years living in mint hill and I’m just now visiting This hidden gem! AWESOME STAFF we received great customer service and I absolutely love that. Food came super fast hot and fresh. Everything was delicious. I even ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bun and omg that thing was so good!! Hot coffee! Great prices! Definitely coming back!
