BBQ was just fair. Sides were decent. Service was outstanding. The brisket was bland and just not good enough to make us want to return.
First observation is their parking lot is not lined so people were parking all over the place and blocked the handicap area. So we parked and went in, seated and checked out the menu. A big variety of food and hard to choose! Didn't have to wait long before we got our food. It was very good and the waitress very attentive. Then on to the extensive dessert menu! Pies, etc are precut and in containers already. Not sure of their freshness but our choices were good. Spent over $40 there but felt like we got our money's worth, with a to go box even. We went there on recommendation of a nurse at the local hospital where my husband had an appointment.
Food - came twice while on a work trip. Sausage and ribs were real good. Seasoned and smoked well. Brisket was dry both times even when asking for moist/fatty. The Mac and cheese and veggies were amazing. Service - friendly folks. Felt at home. Very personable.
