I have to say this place at one point in time was good, but it continually gets worse and worse. The brisket that I ordered today which used to be one of the best briskets around is now the worst brisket I have ever had. The fats are not broken down in the brisket The brisket Heavily under seasoned And tasteless nearly. And of course, when I approached and paid for it and I had already paid for it and then told the worker the worker looks at me cross eyed basically and says well we have never changed our brisket . And so I went ahead and just told her it tasted like a complete garbage and this is coming from someone who Is considered a moderate food credit and gets paid For my reviews. So when I tell you that this place is absolutely horrible. It is absolutely horrible. That is also including the nasty smoked Mac & cheese that was served to me lukewarm. But what top the cake was the careless girl that checked me out at the register. She did not care she made it known she did not care. She didn’t say I’m sorry she literally did not care at all because this is not her business. She basically stuck her middle finger up to me without doing it. I will never be back to Jadeans and I would absolutely tell anyone that wants to come here to eat. This food is mediocre. It is not worth the price you pay you could go to A gas station and get better food.
I ordered takeout, burnt ends brisket platter and pork barbecue sandwiches. The barbecue sandwiches were a 5, Burnt ends were a 4, baked beans and collard greens a 5. Portions were huge and prices were reasonable for what you get. Service and atmosphere a 5
BEST FOOD I have had anywhere in a long time! We started with an order of hush puppies which were chefs kiss delicious. I had the pork barbecue sandwich (with coleslaw) and collard greens and potato salad for sides. My husband had the same sandwich and potato salad but he also had the Mac and cheese and a limeade. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. We sampled their smoked chicken (also very good) and their Brisket 😳..... I have NEVER HAD any meat so tender... EVER! It was So so good. The flavor of everything we had was delicious. The service was also amazing. SUPER sweet and friendly server that knew what we needed when we needed it without being intrusive. We were offered dessert but had no room. We will 100percent go back again.
