See All ReviewsWe orderd carryout. Ordered chicken chorizo with cheese. There was no cheese? We ordered fajita Hawaii. There was no pineapple? We live far from the restaurant. We called the person was not polite at all. Said we could pick up a side of cheese sauce and a side of pineapple. I told her we live far away and she said they would give us $5 off our next meal?
Great service, the server was new, didnt catch her name but she was really great and so was the food! We went for our anniversary and had a great time! Also definitely value for money! Definitely recommend this place.
My wife and I live in Fenton where we have Cancun and Cancun 2 Mexican restaurants, both of which are excellent in food offerings, taste, decor and top level service. They have long been our favorite Mexican restaurants. When Jalisco opened in Saline, I found out it was the "third Cancun" restaurant but wasn't named Cancun 3 because of a nearby restaurant named Cancun. Jalisco is otherwise patterned from Cancun and Cancun 2. Menu choices and decor are very similar which you'd expect since the owner of the Cancuns and the owner of Jalisco are cousins and are both from the state of Jalisco, Mexico. On February 17, 2026 I decided to invite my sister, brother-in-law, nephew and my brother (all live in the Ann Arbor area) as well as my mom and my nephew's girlfriend to join my wife and me for lunch at Jalisco. There, we met with owner Raul who spent considerable time with us, explaining the history of the restaurant and his association with the Cancun restaurants. I was expecting the food to be similar to Cancun and we were not at all disappointed. Everyone in my party of eight people were completely satisfied with our meals. The servings were generous, the food quality including taste, texture, temperature and seasonings were perfect. The service was superb, with the servers making sure to keep the chips, salsa and water glasses filled and checking on us at regular intervals, making sure we had what we needed. Also everything on the menu is reasonably priced and represents excellent value. If you truly like Mexican food, you owe it to yourself to go to Jalisco. Don't be surprised if it becomes your new favorite Mexican restaurant.
