Dat No Mek It. $28 for a 6” round plate of curry goat and white rice. Hardly any goat in there . No veggies or plantain offered. No sah. Rice overcooked, still wet. And the place is dark hardly any lights on in there. Once you order everybody disappear like the place was closed at 2 in the afternoon. The thick young lady was nice though. Good attitude.
Asked for 2 orders of LARGE oxtail one with cabbage and rice/peas one with cabbage with Mac n cheese. Why so stingy with the cabbage where my second large oxtail I was told since I ordered Mac n cheese (which classifies as a special) they replace the second side with white rice. The oxtail was good atleast but for $58.46 I could’ve gotten what I asked for you will see me coming back for a refund or replacement.
Despite being a one-person operation on New Year’s Day, the service was impressively fast and the food exceeded expectations. The rice and peas stood out for their rich flavor and perfect texture—moist, not dry. The cabbage was cooked just right, offering a tender bite without being underdone. The highlight was the jerk chicken: juicy, with a satisfying kick of spice that made each bite memorable. Overall, this meal delivered great taste and efficiency, making it a standout experience for the holiday.
