We ordered multiple items and the total bill was around $60–$70. The veg fried rice and chicken fried rice had too much pepper flavor and lacked spicy taste. The food was okay overall, but the service was very disappointing. We placed our order first, but customers who ordered after us were served before us with all their items. I asked multiple times about our order, and every time they said to wait another 10 minutes. Finally, they even missed one item from our order, and only after I reminded them did they start preparing it. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Parking place & wall team nice
Janata Garage is honestly one of my favorite place lately. It’s the kind of place you keep going back to, especially because it’s open 24/7 super convenient for late-night cravings or early morning chai runs. The maska bun and chai is definitely the highlight for me—simple, fresh, and really comforting. The bun is soft and buttery, and the chai is superb I also tried their special pulao, and it didn’t disappoint. It was flavorful, well-cooked, and filling—perfect for when you want something satisfying but not too heavy. Another thing I like is their weekly offers, which are great if you want to try different items without spending too much. There’s always some deal going on, which makes it even more worth visiting. Janata Garage: A slice of India in Irving! 🇮🇳 I’m picky when it comes to Indian food, but Janata Garage has won me over. It’s more than a restaurant; it’s a vibe. The Biryani: I always judge a place by its biryani, and this is the gold standard. I’m done searching—this is the only place in DFW I’ll be getting my fix from now on. The Dosa: Unlike most places in Irving that lack flavor, the Dosa here is crispy and the filling is actually seasoned and substantial. The Pani Puri: Tastes so fresh and "nice." They serve it just like the street food back home. The Vibe: It’s a great place to hang out, meet new people, and even get your Indian groceries. If you’re feeling homesick, this is the spot to go. You feel like family the moment you walk in.
