Shout out to chef Dee she have that mama touch of love in every bite , I'm very picky about alot of places & I must say her food was delicious to my taste buds that I was in love when I had the wings omg,I traveled from downtown Detroit just to get her food , especially now everybody don't have soul when it comes to soul food, But Chef Dee Thank you so much for your passion in the Kitchen, The ancestors blessed you & keep serving that delicious food... You have the best tasting WINGS, Mac n Cheese , Greens, Yams& seafood pasta salad in the CITY !
My first experience with JayDee’s Soul Food. Minutes after getting in my car with the food I could already smell the amazing redolent soul food smell. Overpowering the smell of 2 of my ‘Little Trees’ black ice scents. When I got home and opened my food up I saw my glycerin sweet chili Wing Dings shining back at me with a good portion of fries and a soft roll. The chicken was cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone easily, also tender with not toooo much crunch. Battered well. Great combination with the french fries as there are some french fries under the chicken that give the fries a great sweet chili taste, and you can never go wrong with a soft roll. Everything was delicious and I will for sure be coming back, not just for the food but also for JayDee’s presents. As I met JayDee and realized that he is naturally people friendly. He is a brother that you would want to see succeed off his remarkable kindness and talent in the kitchen.
Omg the food is soooooo good 😩. I ordered the smothered pork chops with Mac and cheese and greens. I want to go in the kitchen to see if it’s a southern old lady hiding in there because there’s no way this food isn’t made by someone’s big mama lol. And the pretty chocolate girl working in the kitchen was super nice. The only negative was that I couldn’t place the order over the phone. Definitely worth it! I’ll be back!!
