Wow! What a gem! We were headed to Daytona and searched kosher 0laces along the way. We selected this place from the results, and I can honestly say it made the drive worth it. We ordered shawarma with hummus appetizer, I had the falafel pita, and we also ordered the shawarma pita, and pastrami sandwich. Oh and spicy fries. Not o ly was the food delicious, but the place was clean, quiet, and servers were polite and genuine. I am definitely stopping here on the way back drive. Everytime I have to drive north(Daytona,Jax,Atlanta, or NYC I will stop here for a meal. I wish their store was in my area. Demographics: Lots of parking, no outside seating, handicapped entrance, they except debit, and credit..no ATM inside. They had Miller lite 12oz bottles but the rest was non alcoholic.
My son and I ate there this evening. The food was ok; the baba ganoush was pretty good. Oddly, though, the tip was built into the bill and I didn't see this policy stated either in the establishment or on the menu (I may have missed it, but it seemed cheesy either way).
I've been eating here for over 15 years . . . and for good reason. It's a bit pricey, but if you want fresh Jewish/ Mediterranean-style food it's hard to beat. It's very traditional, only Jewish people working there (same woman at the register and grill for a very long time), and very fresh food.
