Went to Jesse's when they first opened and was not satisfied,side I'd never go back well wish I had stuck to my word went there today because I wanted soul food . I han greens that taste like they were soaked in garlic that's all I could taste. Sweet potatos that I don't know what they taste like but I couldn't eat them.chicken wings that were cooked to perfection but had no taste. The amount of food was great ,but I paid 37.00 for a plate and couldn't eat over half the food so disappointing
I had oxtails, green beans, dressing with gravy, cornbread, and heavenly mac & cheese. The food speaks for itself! If I had a mic, I would throw it 1000 yards.
Very welcoming and friendly staff, the food is amazingly cooked and seasoned. A lot of heart and soul went into all the food they make. I definitely recommend to give them a try. We knew from the drinks to the catfish nuggets to the smothered chicken how everything was presented to us it would taste amazing. That we found a perfect comfort food restaurant.
