If you know me, you know I don’t hype things up unless they’re actually worth it… and Jimmy Avocado’s is 100% that spot. Best Mexican food around—no debate. I’m talking “I’ll pull up on a random Wednesday (yeah, cheating on Taco Tuesday 😅) and still come back again the same week” type of good. Everybody talks about “flavor town”… but let’s be real—move over Guy Fieri, there’s a new mayor in town. This is what happens when a small, local business with a big vision actually delivers. You can taste the effort, the consistency, and the pride in every order. Yeah, the line can get long… but let’s call it what it is—that’s not a problem, that’s proof. When people are lining up like that, it’s because something is being done RIGHT. And I’ll tell you right now—it’s worth every second of the wait. I recommend this place to everyone… friends, family… shoot, even my enemies. Because good food is good food—and this place doesn’t miss.
I’ve always enjoyed the regular beef tacos from here. The beef just tastes high quality, from the time the truck was opened till now. Quality and service has always been consistent over the years in my opinion. Also helps the owner is a charitable man and has sponsored to feed families during hard times. Stay local, appreciate the small businesses who tough it out in competition with these chain brands!
Jimmy Avocado's is absolutely one of the GREATEST TEXMEX JOINTS in the world! I first tried this place, when he came to the GCM! And the food was DIVINE! Jimmy introduced me to so many flavors! The Elote's, His Blackberry Jerk Chicken, "Yuca Frys for them Day 1 OG's"! Anything I've ever tried from here has been cooked with the greatest culinary skills ever seen! My personal favorites are Mango Shrip Tacos! And The Blackberry Jerk Nachos! AND THE ELOTES. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a good bite to eat!
