Can't say enough about Jim's Place for my breakfast needs and the occasional polish plate! Friendly, neighborhood- style, family dining featuring polish yummmies! I'm here a lot!
Ordered potato pancakes. Served almost cold not crispy as ordered. Waitress said they are cooked in the morning. She says everyone loves them that way. She said polish village does that also. I have been to the polish village, in Hamtramck and they are great and fresh fried. Ordered combination plate. Again cold. not very tasty. To top it off. We waited over a half hour for this food and the restaurant was half empty. When I complained they said they only had 2 cooks that came in that day and could not keep up???? Cold food cooked art the last minute. I think there microwave was not working. Will never go back.
Awesome old school restaurant...Irish Omelette was awesome...loved the crunchy potatoes!!! Blueberry pancakes were also great...fresh blueberries...healthy servings...great service, even though we were wearing Red's Gear:)
