Stopped by after a round of golf and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The combination of golbaengi, octopus, bossam, and aged kimchi was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐미슐랭 맛집인듯
This family run Korean restaurant is definitely for Koreans first - and the food was definitely authentic. If you don’t speak Korean you will get your food, but maybe not a smile when point to your order. I only speak a few polite words, but I was told that the man serving us was pretty rude. Yeah. By the way, your floors are falling apart. To me that shows you’re either concentrating on the food - or probably just trying to pay the rent - so it makes me trust you less. Bathrooms were ADA sized, clean, and decent. Whoever the chef is - spot on, but the service could be way better and the dining area improved with some basic upgrades.
They have the best Korean comfort food in Annandale. Their soups are amazing. The owner is very kind. We hope they continue their business for a long time!
This place is one of the most traditional Korean restaurants in this area. I grew up in Korea so I totally loved it. We ate 곱창전골 and it was so fresh and tasty. Not too much fat or MSG tasting in the food. If you want to experience traditional Korean food, this is the place!!! Will definitely go back to try all of their menus. Love it!!!!
Outstanding food and authentic classic korean experience. To the person making the statement about coffee water.... that's traditional korean barely tea... a staple at traditional korean restraunts.
The Yuk Gae Jang was delicious and spicy. Definitely recommend! Pretty authentic korean! Don't expect them to wait on you, just call their attention when you need something.
The pork belly was exceptionally good. I asked one of my friends where to eat pork belly BBQ in Annandale. He paused for a moment and then told me to go to this place, with the caveat that I shouldn't expect great decor or extraordinary service. He was right. There's no trendy decor and no exceptional service. The customary korean side dishes aren't numerous. However, I can guarantee that everything on the table was good. It was worth the drive to the other side of Little River Turnpike.
Incredible Korean bbq and banchan. My friends and I ordered the pork belly and brisket, soup, and steamed dumplings. All delicious. The banchan was perfect.
