Very friendly, super authentic, and amazingly tasty food. The owner was super informative on the different kinds of foods and the prices aren’t bad considering how fresh the food is. Will certainly be supporting and going back!
The food here is excellent! Very unique for the Rogue Valley ! Give it a try
I was so happy to find this place!! My great grandparents immigrated from Poland, and my grandma used to make perogies, so it made me nostalgic. And Polish food is hard to find. The food was great and so was the atmosphere inside the sitting area at Black Bird. I do wish it was an actual restaurant, but a food truck is better than nothing. The lady working was friendly and spoke with what sounded like a Polish accent, so this food is legit.
If youre looking for amazing pierogi, amazing borscht, and epic polish sausage look no further! This is the spot in Southern Orgeon to go to, the borscht was nice and savory, not sweet, and has the full body flavor youre looking for! The peirogi are very flavorful with a good amount of filling, the sauerkraut mushroom filling was delicious and the spinach garlic was my favorite! And the polish dog had amazing savory flavor with a beautiful crack to the skin when bitten! If youre looking for amazing polish food, comforting borscht, and soulful peirogi please please please stop here :)!!
I always feel at home when I go to Juleks Polish Kitchenette! Nothing beats their all organic menu created by a traditional Polish chef (Bogusia)! Everything is hand made and being a bigger guy, I sure do love those portions. My absolute favorite is their Kielbasa with a bun, which is always served with a smile.
My one stop for ultimate comfort food! I always order the pork roast and I love the side veggies and mashed potatoes topped with fresh dill. It’s always delicious and tastes like it was made with a lot of love and care ~
We shared take out tonight and were both impressed with the generous helping of pork roast, the tasty dill mashed potatoes, the savory beet salad and the interesting combinations in all four kinds of pierogi! We will be back for this authentic Polish food from the cart in front of the Phoenix Blackbird! It's difficult to rate atmosphere from a food truck but the picnic in our backyard is priceless!
I have become a fan of this place! They use organic, grass fed, great quality ingredients. The restaurant smells like home cooking, comforting! I grew up in northern China, bordering Russia. All we had in the winter time was sauerkraut, potatoes and meat (meat for flavors, we didn’t have money to cook roast or steaks). Cabbage was the most popular ingredient in our cooking. Julek’s kitchen’s sauerkraut reminds me of my childhood! The stews are the best!
