I stumbled upon K-Garden one chilly evening this past winter. A rustic exterior, like a Texan bar from days gone by that didn’t stand the test of time and urban sprawl. I travel through here a lot and it’s a culinary desert, littered with gas station burritos and fast food death served in brown paper bags. But there stands K-Garden. An oasis. Its interior like a portal to another world, with goods and snacks from all over, handmade pottery for sale. A hilarious sticker on the underside of the toilet seat. I ordered a noodle soup, rolls, and a the kimchijeon. The food here is like a hug from the universe. It warmed by bones, filled my belly, touched my soul. I can’t wait to be back in the area and stop in for a bite. K-Garden, I love you. Never change.
Lovely couple owns and runs the place, food comes out as its ready so your whole table wont be served all at once but the food is hot and fresh and delicious. Byob. Owners are so friendly and sweet and accommodating. Very authentic food too. Try the kitchen pancakes!
