I've been kind of disappointed lately with the new to me restaurants I've tried but Kanka's has renewed my faith! The chicharron was the best I've ever had, I actually ate them all in the car on the way home. The chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned. Could seriously eat the rice every day! Will definitely be back!
Just wow! Amazing food and good prices. Everything was so delicious and tasty. We had Lomo Saltado and Arroz Chaufa along with their fresh juices (passion fruit and mango). The dishes were cooked perfectly. This is definitely one of my new favorite Latin restaurants in Tampa. I am looking forward to trying their other dishes. What a hidden gem! It’s in a relatively obscure place, we went in the evening and it wasn’t busy. With their lunch price specials though, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were busier in the day.
I am happy I came here! The owners are very nice, but most importantly the rotisserie chicken and the taco that we ordered are one of the best that I had! I love the Guanabana too! My autistic daughter loved the chicken too! And the beans was so perfect in my taste!
