I love this place! Tuesdays they always have chicken tikka masala, my absolute favorite. And the butter chicken is a less spicey version also delicious. The try combo plates, they are the best deal. 2 meat dishes with rice and naan, or 2 veggie dishes with rice and naan. A great deal. They always have wonderful vegetarian options. And extremely fresh naan with every meal it comes right off of their tandoor grill. The naan bread is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pakistani food is spicier by nature ❤️❤️❤️but you can ask them for the non spicey options if you can’t handle some heat.
I’m staying in the Times Square area, and it’s really challenging to find authentic Pakistani food here. I was honestly fed up with pizzas 🍕 when I finally found this restaurant on 9th Avenue. It’s within walking distance from Times Square. I think it’s about a 20-minute walk (I didn’t calculate the exact time), but I’ve visited several times and truly enjoyed the food every time. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the staff speaking Pashto as well, which felt very special to me since I also speak Pashto. It gave me a nice homely feeling. The food is excellent. I never took photos before, but since it’s my last night in NYC, I went there again and ordered rice with kari pakora, roti, and chai. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. Sorry I took the photos at the last minute after finishing my food. I suddenly remembered that I should leave a review to help other tourists visiting Times Square. If you’re craving authentic Pakistani food, this is honestly the best place I’ve found and I strongly recommend it.
Enjoying authentic Lahori chicken biriyani with a friendly and welcoming staff that made me feel right at home. The atmosphere reminded me of Pakistan, and they also offer a great selection of kebabs and other delicious dishes. Please consider supporting this wonderful local business!
