The owner chef here is truly passionate about tonkatsu. I’ve tried many restaurants around San Jose, but honestly, this place is number one for me. I had the tomahawk-style tonkatsu and my wife ordered the king-size tonkatsu. The portions were huge, the pork was incredibly tender, and the breading was on another level. It was crispy, light, and really different from other places. We both finished everything on our plates without leaving a single bite. Also, all staffs were very kind and we were satisfied with their good service!<3 They just opened in January, so it’s not very well known yet—but I have a feeling there will be a wait soon!
Had the tomahawk katsu, which was a bit dry for my tastes but it was otherwise pretty good
