Kay’s is an old school restaurant, simple menu with delicious food. You want amazing biscuits and gravy? Come here. Fried bologna sandwich? Same. Bring cash and your appetite!
I never leave this place without ordering slaw dog. That being said I got the Western omelette as a wild card order the last time I went to this diner and it was the best omelette I've ever had. This place is very downhome and comfort food at comfort prices is what you get. The customers are always kind of the same every time I go in. And by that I mean everyone is a neighbor it seems like. Everyone behind the kitchen wall is working hard and even the ones that come out and serve. This is a wonderful operation and the food is simple, very affordable, but made with something special. I eat hear every chance I get.
Fantastic cheeseburger. Crinkle cut fries. Mighty good Sal, better get you some. But there is only seating for 15, you might have to plan your visit at an off time
