This is a true mom and pop burger spot. Sara is a wonderful lady and extremely hard worker. She's the definition of what is to be an American! My wife and I truly love this place, we are regulars and can't say enough good things. Great American food that is consistent, fair priced, and high quality. She makes the best burger around as well. Her patty melt, chicken fried steak meal, French fries, THE PANCAKES......I dont have words, its all good. She occasionally has a chicken noodle soup that's straight from her heart to bowl. Stop in and say hi to a wonderful couple that make honest great food. We love Kays!
Little mom and pop establishment. The cheeseburger and onion rings were terrific. Took my dad who was wearing a veterans hat. The sweet lady serving us comp’d his meal. Didn’t announce it. Just did it. The reviews were spot on.
Today I had taste for a Poboy. As I went out searching I came across Kay’s Sandwiches. I drive pass this spot all time, who would have thought it was so close to home!! So I definitely was intrigued to stop by. Anyways long story short, I just had the best hands-down Poboy in humble and i’m not exaggerating. It was so delicious, along side with some fresh fried okra. Mhmm so yummy. The owners there were super sweet and kind. I was a bit of in a lunch rush and had to get back to work but none the less my food still came out super fresh and delicious. Thank you Kay. I definitely will be coming back to try the other items on their menu.
