I came to Amrita with severe shoulder impingement and truly excruciating pain that was affecting my daily life. From the very first session, Amrita showed exceptional professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care. She took the time to understand my condition, explained everything clearly, and tailored my treatment perfectly. Thanks to her expertise and encouragement, I was nursed back to full function and am now pain-free. I can’t recommend Amrita highly enough—she is an outstanding physiotherapist who truly goes above and beyond for her patients.
I was very pleased with my PT experience. Amrita did an excellent evaluation to determine the appropriate therapy. I highly recommend her.
I have had a very positive experience at Keep Moving Physical Therapy. Amrita is very knowledgeable and caring, listens carefully to each patient and makes notes. She treated the root cause of my pain rather than simply targetting the pain itself. Instead of limiting to the conventional therapy methods, she also uses cupping to improve tissue mobility and circulation.
This has been the 2nd time in 3 years going to KMPT for cervical spine & calf/ankle issues. On my 1st visit, Amrita started out with an extensive evaluation of my physical restrictions and pain issues, then we worked on range of motion for both my neck as well as my foot/ankle. Amrita used treatments that I was originally unfamiliar with such as cupping and graston techniques which introduced me to a better physical quality of life. There is so much I have learned from Amrita involving PT exercises that I can now continue at home. My range of motion and pain levels have improved significantly and I highly recommend Keep Moving PT. Additionally, Amrita and her entire staff have outstanding personalities. I will continue to use her for any additional PT needs. James McHale
There is a magic that Dr. Singh brings to her practice that is not seen or experienced at your "cookie cutter" physical therapy establishment. You will not receive a typical template of exercises to do at home based on your ailment. Dr. Singh will work with you on a plan that is right for YOU and your issue. I was completely frustrated with two orthopedists and their recommendations for my tennis elbow that prevented me from working out for months and caused pain in normal everyday activity (e.g., opening doors, lifting my backpack, doing laundry...) It was a chronic condition that Dr. Singh addressed with an exercise regimen, cupping, and manual manipulation. She also discovered an underlying nerve issue and taught me how to "floss" (no, it does not involve string. :-) to address the heaviness that I felt in my forearm. It took a while because I had a chronic condition, but I am back to lifting weights and quite happy. She is now working with me on the osteoarthritis I have in my left knee and after three weeks, the pain has gotten much better. (It's also a relief not having to rely on a platelet-rich plasma shot - $950 out of pocket - every six months for a temporary fix.) Dr. Singh is not only a trained physical therapist, but an investigator: she is going to do her level best to get to the root cause of your issue and work with you to resolve it. She works with you one-on-one and will never advocate drugs or shots or quick fixes (she understands pain; she'll always try to provide a natural alternative for you.) What I admire most is her philosophy of working with you to get your body to heal itself. And that - given today's medical establishment's desire to just drug you into oblivion - is a rare and wonderful thing.
I called Keep Moving Physical Therapy because of a tear in my meniscus that was causing pain and swelling. I was limping and not able to regularly exercise or participate in my favorite activities. Amrita was very prompt at answering or returning my call/s. She is always readily available for any questions or concerns. Not only did I receive exceptional physical therapy, she also educated me on the problem, the therapy plan and what I could do outside of therapy to help and improve. Amrita’s patience and kindness make her very approachable and made me very comfortable. She truly cares about her patients. I have had excellent results! My knee pain and swelling is gone and I can bend, squat, exercise and resume my active lifestyle. I highly recommend Keep Moving Physical Therapy.
I saw Amrita for about three months for a pinched nerve. When I began PT my entire right leg from hip to ankle was in tremendous pain, but gradually today the pain is completely gone thanks to Amrita. As she told me when I started PT, for it to work I need to be persistent and to keep doing the stretches each day. Also what I liked about Amrita was that she was willing to try different therapy approaches to help me recover. She really cares about her patients and tries everything to help them. I highly recommend Keep Moving.
I had severe pain with my SI joint on my left side. At times, I was unable to bend down. Orthopedic physician ordered for me to get physical therapy. Most places I called couldn't see me for weeks, but when I called Keep Moving and spoke with Amrita (the therapist), she was able to see me the same day I called for evaluation and exercises. She noticed that my shoulders and hips weren't aligned properly, and after 3 weeks with her, it improved a lot (you can see in the video, the light shirt was when I started, the dark shirt was towards the middle of the therapy). Amrita is awesome and helped me get better and I'm very grateful for that. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs physical therapy as she definitely knows her profession.
