Amazing experience! Fresh mezza, good Arak, and the raw and grilled fish were delicious. The calamari and prawns were perfectly prepared. Everything was fresh, tasty, and truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Kelly’s Restaurant is truly one of those hidden gems that never ever disappoints me. Every time I visit, I honestly feel like the experience gets even better than the previous one. From the food to the atmosphere, everything feels genuine, simple, and made with care. The fish is always unbelievably fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in every dish. It’s the kind of place where you order with confidence because you already know everything will be delicious “addicted to their batata harra appetiser” What makes the experience even more special are the owners. They are incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly, and they always make you feel at home the moment you walk in. In a city where good hospitality is becoming rare, this place really stands out. The restaurant itself is tiny, but that’s honestly part of its charm. Despite the small space, it is always super clean, cozy, and comfortable. It has this authentic feeling that makes you enjoy the whole experience even more. Whenever I leave, I’m always in a good mood with a very satisfied tummy 🤣. The only downside is that sometimes it’s hard to find a table 🤣 But honestly, that only proves how good this place is and somehow makes me want to go back even more. For me, Kelly’s is easily one of the best if not the absolute best fish restaurants in town. Highly, highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fresh seafood, great hospitality, and authentic hidden gems.
If you’re in Beirut and craving fresh local seafood, Kelly’s Fish Lounge is a must. Run by two friends, Elias and Kelly, the place instantly feels like you’re having dinner at their home. It’s warm, welcoming, and effortlessly relaxed, exactly the kind of atmosphere you want for a long night out in Beirut. The restaurant is small, so reservations are essential. Once you’re seated, though, the table is yours for the evening with no pressure to rush. Part of the experience is choosing your seafood straight from the fridge, pouring a glass of local wine, and letting the kitchen take care of the rest. Every dish arrives full of flavor and the portions are generous. It’s the kind of place where everything feels fresh, simple, and done really well, which is why I keep coming back with friends whenever I’m in the city. Kelly’s Fish Lounge captures what Beirut seafood dining is all about: casual, flavorful, and full of heart. Definitely a spot you shouldn’t miss while visiting. Visited in February 2026. Lebanon 🇱🇧, Beirut. A small seafood restaurant with a display of the day’s fresh catch. The interior is bright and pleasant, with plenty of wood and large windows that bring in natural light and create a cozy atmosphere. There is also a small terrace for outdoor seating. FOOD: This is a seafood-focused restaurant with a fairly compact menu, but there is also a fresh seafood display where you can choose items such as squid, shrimp, fish, and oysters. We tried octopus prepared two ways — grilled and sautéed in oil with garlic. In both cases the octopus was extremely tender. It likely undergoes some form of pre-marination, as it had a subtle lemon note and a very delicate texture. My favorite was the version cooked in oil and garlic. We also had white fish ceviche. I appreciated that the fish still tasted fresh and natural rather than overly marinated in citrus. The dressing had acidity, but it complemented the delicate flavor of the fish rather than overpowering it. The tempura shrimp were excellent — large, juicy shrimp with a very light and crispy coating. They are served individually and come with a dipping sauce. Another highlight was their spiced potatoes — incredibly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Be careful, they are very addictive. We also tried raw shrimp, which were fantastic, though they are not always available and need to be confirmed in advance. Slightly sweet with a delicate texture and elegant flavor, served simply with salt. Everything we tried was delicious and very fresh. SERVICE: Service was excellent and friendly. We visited twice and each time felt genuinely welcomed. The food arrives quickly, and the restaurant also serves complimentary snacks at the table. VERDICT: A very good seafood restaurant. Reservations might be necessary, as both times we visited the place was completely full. Everything was fresh and flavorful. A great spot to enjoy seafood in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.
The best authentic seafood in town !! ❤️❤️❤️ everything is super fresh and delicately cooked and infused with Mediterranean flavors. Beside that, the Staff are so welcoming and the vibes are so warm & cozy. ✨✨ highly recommended!!
Food is really superior. Small and limited seats but always a pleasure to go back to. Sea food and fish freshness and quality is probably the best in Lebanon. Though usually grilled fish is not a natural choice, I look forward to going back every time and now with a new cozy decor!
We recently visited this fish restaurant, and while the food was undoubtedly delicious, the behavior of the owners left a sour taste in our mouths. Let me start with the positives - the seafood dishes we ordered were all fresh and cooked to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced and the portions were generous. However, our positive experience was tarnished by the rude and dismissive behavior of the owners. From the moment we walked in, they seemed uninterested in making us feel welcome. They were short with us on whatever we asked and seemed annoyed having new customers. While the quality of the food was excellent, the owners' behavior left a bad taste in our mouths. It's disappointing to see such disregard for restoration basics. I would NOT recommend this place! There are many other excellent fish restaurants in the area.
A delicious fish restaurant in the heart of Beirut. I recommend making a reservation, because they seem to always be busy. It’s a small but quaint place, and the food is all so fresh. The staff are all attentive and friendly. I’d recommend trying the: • Fattouch • Traditional Hummus • Assorted White Fish • Fresh Grilled Fish + enjoy a glass of the Cloud 9 white wine. One of the items which was my least favorite was their version of ceviche (it was good, but I’ve tried better). You’ll enjoy the rest!
